Troubleshooting Camera Scan
Some existing cameras may not appear right away because they are still tied to an old IP range, recorder network, P2P setup, or QR-code configuration. Check the connections below, then run camera discovery again. ANYAICAM can review the next steps if a camera still does not appear.
Common Cause
Many cameras were installed behind a recorder or isolated camera network. Even if the customer can view them through an old QR code or P2P app, the cameras may not be visible on the customer's current network.

The camera may still be using a previous IP range from the old recorder or installer setup.
A POE switch can power the camera and help place it on the customer's active network.
Simple Field Steps
Connect the camera to a POE switch that is connected to the customer's router or network.
Check that the camera is powered and that the POE switch or network port shows an active connection.
Wait a few minutes for the camera and network equipment to finish connecting.
Open the ANYAICAM app again and run camera discovery after the camera is back online.
If the camera still does not appear, contact ANYAICAM so the system details can be reviewed and the appropriate next step can be confirmed.
